During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine (since 2022), Rostyslav Valikhnovskyi was actively involved in providing medical assistance to victims of hostilities. In particular, he collaborated with the Kovel Territorial Medical Association in the Volyn region. His activities during this period were covered in the Volyn regional press.
